Google’s Android Phones Keep Autocompleting the Phrase "Sit On" With the Least Appropriate Ending

Can a phone blush?
Last week, Google Translate kept spitting out apocalyptic messages.
Now, it’s Google’s Android phones that are getting up to no good. And how.
According to Buzzfeed, numerous Android users are seeing their Gboard (Google Keyboard, obviously) offer to autocomplete the phrase "sit on" with "my face", which is a hilarious and deeply freaky thing for an inanimate object to suggest.
My phone did it too. I 100% have NEVER said, much less typed that phrase. pic.twitter.com/7pYgjbYm1d

Of course, this kind of sexually explicit outburst is to be expected from such a repressed device, which is otherwise banned from predicting more than 1,400 questionable words, including "butt", "braless" and, umm, "pizzle".
Google has since told Buzzfeed News they’re on top of the "my face" issue, saying, "We’ve started rolling out a fix for this prediction behaviour in Gboard so that users will no longer see this suggestion."
So, how did the Gboard get so saucy?
Well, despite Google’s efforts to ban such scintillating language, "sometimes inappropriate suggestions make it through into the machine learning models," Google’s spokesperson told Buzzfeed.
Basically: the cheeky phrase was used on Google so often, the Gboard just went and worked it into its own lexicon.
So, please, spare a thought for all the Google search engineers who are now trying to think of all scandalous permutations of the English language and working out what they need to ban going forward.
just loving the fact that some Google engineer is being paid overtime to correct the words "sit on my face" on a friday night
