Google Is Now Letting You Download Your Entire Search History

‘Clear History’ won’t save you now.

Google has just launched a new feature allowing you to download your entire search history, so for the love of all that is good and holy, log out of any public computers right now.

The search engine giant has been testing the feature since last year, but it has only just gone live to the public.

Curious to see what you Googled once upon a time? Login to your Google account and visit history.google.com

Once you’re there, select the settings wheel up top and click ‘Download’.

But first, do heed Google’s warning before creating an archive of every. single. search you’ve ever made. (Think of what might happen if it got in the wrong hands?)

As their terms and conditions say, “please read this carefully, it’s not the usual yada yada.”

If you're still intrigued to see what you were Googling this time last year, go for it.

If you're terrified of this new dystopia we're rollicking towards, wherein your most private details are available at the click of a button, I don't know, maybe use Bing or something.
