James Franco's Accusers Just Want Him to Apologise

Trigger Warning: This article discusses sexual harassment and assault.

In an interview with Good Morning America, two women, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Violet Paley, have gone on television to elaborate on their accusations against James Franco for his alleged sexual misconduct.

Sarah explained that, while a student in his acting master class 'Sex Scenes', he would add new scenes after scripts had been handed out, which she described as "gratuitous and exploitative."

"James abused his power by exploiting the non-celebrity women that he worked with under the guise of giving them opportunities," she said.

Violet explained Franco pressured her into performing sexual acts on him. "He kinda, like, pushed my head down and said 'Come on'," she explained.

When asked what Violet would want to ask Franco, she responded with: "Please just apologise."

The news of these accusations first broke the day after the Golden Globes when Paley wrote on Twitter about an alleged experience she had with the actor.

Just a few hours before, Tither-Kaplan had also called him out for abusing his power while he conducted master acting classes with up-and-coming female actors.

Franco denied these accusations on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert saying that they were not accurate.

"But I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice because they didn't have a voice for so long," Franco said. "If I've done something wrong, I'll fix it."

It's been speculated that Franco missed out on an Oscar nomination for his role in The Disaster Artist because of these allegations.
