In Very Relatable Move, Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" Has a Teacher Called Madam Satan

She sounds... nice?

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina arrives on Netflix next month, and the extremely #mood trailer gave us life, we were here for it, YQY, et cetera.

Today, Netflix has shared a bunch of official images introducing the cast surrounding Kiernan Shipka’s titular teen witch, and one character in particular caught our eye: the not-subtly-named Madam Satan.

Michelle Gomez—aka Missy from Doctor Who—plays Madam Satan (that name again: Madam Satan), a demon who possesses the body of Sabrina’s fave teacher, Mary Wardwell. Check her out in the pic above.

Just to reiterate: Sabrina’s adventures as a high schooler are so chilling, she’s being taught by a demon literally called Madam Satan.

Then again, who hasn’t been? Are we right? YQY.

Of course, Madam Satan has been part of the Archie Comics family since 1941, though she only began inhabiting the bodies of Sabrina Spellman's teachers since 2015. Gomez will be the first actress to depict her on the tele.

Netflix also shared images of Aunt Zelda (Miranda Otto), Aunt Hilda (Lucy Davis) and the Weird Sisters (Adeline Rudolph, Tati Gabrielle, Abigail Cowen), but none of those are named "Madam Satan" so we’re less interested in them.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina arrives on Netflix 26 October.
