However, it left us all wondering: How would Aussie viewers be able to watch it?

Well, cancel your plans tonight because the reunion special is landing on Stan at 8pm AEDT today. Plus, all 148 episodes of the original series will also arrive on the streaming service.

Yes, you read that correctly. Take a moment to do the Carlton dance.

This means Aussies will be able to view it on the same day as audiences in the United States, so you don't have to worry too much about spoilers.

If you haven't seen the trailer for the special yet, it features cast members including Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons and even DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Sadly, James Avery, who played Philip Banks, died in 2013. In the trailer, the cast pays tribute to Avery by calling him "the heart of the show".

It's important to note that the reunion special isn't a new episode of the show. Instead, the cast will reminisce about their experiences and reflect on the cultural impact of the series.

The reunion was filmed on 10 September, which was 30 years to the day of when the show first premiered in the US.

It was revealed back in August that The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would be getting a reboot titled Bel-Air, a one-hour dramatic retelling of the beloved 90s sitcom. The reboot is set to dive deeper into the inherent conflicts, emotions and biases of what it means to be a Black man in America today.

Bel-Air is set to premiere in 2021 on US streaming service Peacock, so we will let you know how you'll be able to watch it in Australia.
