The film won Best Picture at this year's Academy Awards.

If you watched the 93rd annual Academy Awards on Monday to catch all the awkward moments and big winners, you would know that Nomadland took home the Oscar for Best Picture.

Look, we know you're really only watching for the memes, but still.

Not only did the film win the top gong of the night, but it also scored Frances McDormand her third Best Actress award. On top of that, filmmaker Chloé Zhao became the first Asian woman to win Best Director.

So, if you're wanting to impress your mates by being able to chat about this year's Oscar-winning flicks, you probably want to know how you can watch 'em.

Fortunately, we know exactly how you can watch Nomadland down under.

Nomadland is officially available for Aussie viewers to catch via On Demand on FOXTEL from Friday, 30 April.

It'll also premiere on FOXTEL Movies Premiere channel on Saturday, 1 May at 8.30pm AEST.

On top of that, you'll also be able to stream it on Star on Disney+ from 30 April.

The movie follows the journey of Fern (McDormand), who, after the economic collapse of her hometown in Empire, Nevada, packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

Zhao's film also features real nomads Linda May, Charlene Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern's mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

The story is based on the non-fiction book NOMADLAND: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century by Jessica Bruder.

Despite being a low budget drama, Nomadland received industry praise, with a 94 per cent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Well, there's your Friday plans sorted.
