How to Watch "I May Destroy You" in Australia

Critics are calling it the best drama of the year.
Over the past few months, Australians have had to sit back and listen to British and American audiences rave on social media about Michaela Coel's new show, I May Destroy You.
Despite being released in both the United States on HBO and the United Kingdom on BBC back in June, Aussies were tragically deprived of the highly-acclaimed series.
However, we can finally stop crying ourselves to sleep every night, because Binge has officially dropped the complete season of the 12-part series.
Yeah, that means you can watch it right now if you're a Binge subscriber. (Affiliate disclosure: Student Edge may earn a commission if you click that link and buy a product from our partner's page.)

I May Destroy You explores the question of consent in contemporary life and how we make the distinction between sexual liberation and exploitation.
It tells the story of Arabella Essiuedu (Coel), a successful writer who is feted as the 'voice of her generation'. Except, she's struggling to write her second novel and is in danger of becoming destructive and self-absorbed. After being sexually assaulted in a nightclub, her life changes as she's forced to reassess everything: her career, her friends and even her family.
The show was created, written and co-directed by Coel, who has previously opened up about her own personal experience of sexual assault.
It also stars Weruche Opia (Inside No9), Paapa Essiedu (Kiri), Aml Ameen (Yarde), Adam James (Belgravia), Saraha Niles (Catastrophe), Ann Akin (Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams), Harriet Webb (Plebs), Ellie James (Giri/Haji), Franc Ashman (Peep Show), Karan Gill (Flesh & Blood), Natalie Walter (Horrible Histories) and Samson Ajewole.

Critics have praised the series, with The Guardian's Lucy Mangan writing, "Michaela Coel's new series is an extraordinary, breathtaking exploration of consent, race and millennial life that works on every level."
Vulture's Monica Castillo also gave it a five-star review, and the series currently has a rating of 97 per cent on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.
