Missing that chaotic, stress-filled family holiday ‘cos COVID cancelled it? Don’t worry, HBO have come to the rescue with their dark, vacation comedy The White Lotus to fill your cravings of beachside sun tanning, mystery and good ol’ fashioned family drama.

The new miniseries is sure to be binge-worthy, so here’s everything you need to know about The White Lotus and how to watch it in Australia.

How can I watch The White Lotus in Australia?

Thankfully, this is one of those instances where a series isn’t being delayed for Aussie audiences and we’re pretty stoked about that.

The first episode of The White Lotus drops Monday 12 July and is available exclusively on Foxtel, BINGE and Foxtel Now. If you’ve got Foxtel, head to the Fox Showcase channel to get your fix. Otherwise, The White Lotus will be available to stream on BINGE and Foxtel Now from 12 July.

New episodes will be dropping weekly on BINGE so best set that phone reminder so you don't miss any of the six episodes.

What is The White Lotus about?

The show follows a series of guests on holiday at an exclusive Hawaiian resort called The White Lotus. Over the week while trying to relax and rejuvenate, viewers will start to realise that none of the guests are on a perfect holiday in paradise (sounds like every family holiday I’ve ever had).

As their vacation draws on, the guests, staff, and the resort itself begins to unravel, showing a darker side to what’s really going on.

Who’s in The White Lotus?

We’re glad you asked. The White Lotus has an awesome cast of actors you’ve definitely seen at least once.

Aussie actor Murray Bartlett plays the resort manager Armond, Connie Britton (Nashville, American Horror Story) joins him and is on a family vacation with her husband Steve Zahn (Treme, Sahara) and kids Fred Gechinger (Eighth Grade) and Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria). Newly weds Alexandra Daddario (True Detective) and Jake Lacy (The Office) are on their honeymoon when their mum Molly Shannon (Divorce) decides to join them.

The show also features Jennifer Coolidge (A Cinderella Story), Jon Gries (Napoleon Dynamite) and Brittany O’Grady (Little Voice).
