How to Watch "AEW" in Australia

We’re talking Dynamite, Rampage and all the PPVs.

All Elite Wrestling is the hottest thing in the professional wrestling world right now and if you’re not watching AEW on the reg then you’re definitely missing out.

With their latest pay-per-view All Out shaking the wrestling world to its core with debuts from CM Punk, Bryan Danielson (aka Daniel Bryan) and Adam Cole, AEW is on a mission to dethrone WWE as the pro wrestling company of choice.

The only snag for anyone living in Australia is watching AEW Dynamite, Rampage and every PPV isn’t exactly clear. Don’t worry though Hulkamaniacs, we’ve got you, brother.

Here’s how to watch everything AEW in Australia.

What is AEW?

AEW is a pro wrestling company that is the biggest competitor to WWE.

Started by wrestlers Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Brandi Rhodes in 2019—and bankrolled by the always smiling Tony Khan—AEW was born, offering fans worldwide an alternative to WWE’s stale and uninspiring product.

Quickly, AEW attracted amazing indie wrestlers like Hangman Page, Darby Allin, Britt Baker and Jungle Boy to join, as well as lured Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose) from WWE to let the world know they’re here to make an impact.

Fast forward to now and AEW has enticed CM Punk out of early retirement, cleared the icon Sting to wrestle again, and poached Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole—two of the biggest stars at WWE—to come join them.

It’s not just the names that matter though, it’s the fact that the wrestling is so damn good that makes AEW the wrestling company to be watching right now.

How do I watch AEW in Australia?

The good news is there are heaps of ways to watch AEW down under.

First up, there are episodes of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation that is free to watch live on AEW’s YouTube channel every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am AEST. They’re both AEW’s ‘B-shows’ where unheard of wrestlers get to have a chance.

What you really want to be watching is AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage, both of which are a little harder to access.

To watch both live in Australia, you’ll need to sign up to AEW Plus on FITE. It’s a monthly subscription service that brings you every AEW show live and on-demand.

An AEW Plus subscription is gonna cost you $US4.99 ($AUD7) per month. If you’re unsure, you can get a seven-day free trial to see if you like it.

For the big PPVs, you’ll need to purchase these separately through FITE. AEW’s next PPV is AEW: Full Gear 2021 and costs $US19.99 ($AUD28). Yeah, it’s a little more expensive, but that’s ‘cos the wrestlers go to a whole different level to entertain you on a PPV.

With AEW clearly killing it compared to WWE, now is the perfect time to jump ship and start watching.
