Heck Yes! “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” is One of July’s Free PlayStation Plus Games

Plus, “A Plague Tale” and “WWE 2K Battlegrounds”.

It’s the end of the month PlayStation users, which can only mean one thing: the free PlayStation Plus games for July have been announced.

Each month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are rewarded for the undying loyalty to Sony with free games. Btw if you’re not yet a member, defs look at becoming one. With the amount of free games they giveaway, it basically pays for itself.

For July, PS4 users are getting Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2k Battlegrounds. And for anyone lucky enough to be repping a PS5, you’re gonna be getting A Plague Tale: Innocence.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

To kick it off, anyone who loves a good ol’ FPS will be stoked to see Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is one of the free games for July. It’s has great multiplayer modes and a massive Zombies multiplayer mode too. The only thing this game is missing is a campaign but hey, beggers can’t be choosers.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds.

This one is defs for the pro wrestling fans. If you don’t follow the sport, then it probably isn’t the game for you.

‘Cos of COVID, 2K didn’t release a proper 2K WWE game last year. Instead, they went for a more arcade-style combat game with more exaggerated graphics and OTT combat moves like flaming fists.

Was it worth paying full price on release? Definitely not. Do you want to have 30 mins of fun for free? You might as well download it then.

A Plague Tale: Innoncence.

For PS5 users only, A Plague Tale is a fantastic survival horror set in the middle ages, players must use their stealth and cunning to not only evade capture from the French Inquisition, but also the black plague which is frighteningly depicted as hordes of ravenous rats (gross).

A Plague Tale has received great ratings, and the fact that a sequel is coming out next year probably explains why Sony are giving this one out for free. Absolutely worth a download, just don’t get too attached to the dog at the start…

All games are available to download for free from 6 July.
