How to Order the "J Balvin Meal" at McDonald’s in Australia

La la la la la, me encanta.

Here we go again.

Mere weeks after McDonald’s broke the internet/the wills of their many staff members with an uber-popular Travis Scott collab, Macca’s has added another artist's signature meal to the menu.

This time, it’s international sensation J Balvin from Colombia who has unveiled his "J Balvin Meal". But just like the "Travis Scott Meal", this one isn't technically available in Australia either.

Ay dios mio!

The good news is you can still order it locally, if you follow our hack below.

See, the "J Balvin Meal" is simply a Big Mac without pickles (AKA a worse Big Mac), medium fries with ketchup and an Oreo McFlurry. In the US, this will set you back $USD6.99 (which roughly converts to $AUD9.76). That’s actually slightly more expensive than the $USD6 "Travis Scott Meal".

However, as we previously revealed, even though you can’t specifically order a "Travis Scott Meal" at Maccas’s counters or drive-thrus in Australia, you can certainly request all its items, including a Quarter Pounder with lettuce, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, cheese and bacon; medium fries with a side of BBQ dipping sauce; and a medium Sprite. It costs $AUD14.80 here if you order it piece by piece.

Similarly, you can order the different elements of the "J Balvin Meal", and down under, it’ll only cost you $13.50. Here’s one we prepared earlier on the mymacca’s app…

(Since his meal doesn't come with a drink, you may want to take advantage of the Student Edge discount and get a small drink for free with your order.)

Balvin, best known for "Mi Gente", only becomes the third celebrity to be added to the McDonald’s menu, following Michael Jordan in the 1990s and Travis Scott in September.

And though this particular partnership doesn’t appear to involve the same merch or charitable donations as Scott’s campaign, Balvin did get a commemorative diamond-encrusted chain with a McDonald’s tray and meal on it for his troubles, according to Complex. So, that’s good for him.

While you place your order, please enjoy J Balvin's previous most iconic collab:
