Here’s Your PlayStation Plus Games for April

Have your platforming, sword-fighting and raiding skills ready from 4 April.

PlayStation have just revealed the games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential, and subscribers are in for quite the variety.

Enjoy some colourful 3D-platforming, a hand-drawn roleplaying adventure, and a day-one release that will have you attempting to survive and raid player-made levels in a post-apocalyptic world.

Don’t forget – if you’re a PS5 owner with a PS Plus subscription, claim your PlayStation Plus Collection games ASAP before they disappear in May!

Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4, PS5).

Sackboy is back in this spinoff of the iconic PlayStation series LittleBigPlanet in the 3D-platformer, Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

Play on your own or with up to four friends in an incredibly cute, vibrant world to help save Craftworld and the Sackpeople!

Meet Your Maker (PS4, PS5).

Meet Your Maker is releasing day-one on PlayStation Plus, which means you can be one of the first to play this creative post-apocalyptic title!

This first-person title is going to be a treat if you enjoy fast-paced combat and/or enjoy building and playing custom-made levels.

Described as a ‘build-and-raid’, Meet Your Maker will have you navigating through outposts filled with traps and guards.

You can choose your loadout (melee, ranged, defensive) and perks that suit whatever playstyle you love – stick to what you know, or give yourself a bit of a challenge.

You can even get a friend in on the action and create levels together, or raid Outposts as a team.

Tails of Iron (PS4, PS5).

Play as Redgi – heir to the Rat Throne – in this hand-drawn RPG adventure, Tails of Iron.

Don’t be fooled by this cute art-style – you’ll engage in some brutal combat as you fight to reclaim your kingdom, overrun by the merciless Frog Clan.

Recruit a crew of companions along the way, and use tools such as meal recipes, blueprints and armour to takedown the Frog Clan leader, Greenwart!

(If you’re wondering why the narrator in the trailer may sound familiar, it’s the voice actor of the one-and-only Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series.)

There’s still time to grab last month’s games too!

You'll have the chance to download Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons and Code Vein to your library until 3 April.
