Day, Made: Here Are Two New Lonely Island Songs From "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping"

The Lonely Island has released not one but two new songs ahead of their upcoming cinematic opus Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.

The first, “I’m So Humble”, comes with an Adam Levine hook, which we’ll forgive in this one instance. Over the top, Andy Samberg (who, in the movie, plays a former boy band-member gone solo named Conner4Real) raps about being so, you know, humble. “I’m so ordinary, that it’s truly quite extraordinary.”

We actually heard this song as the backdrop to the Popstar trailer:

That’s probably why the Lonely Island deigned to offer us another track: “Mona Lisa”.

In it, Conner4Real raps about hating the Mona Lisa. Look, no one said these songs were going to be mistaken for the new Radiohead tracks.

You can listen to the full songs on Spotify and Apple Music. Get going already!

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping arrives in Australian cinemas this August.
