Here Are All of Villanelle's "Killing Eve" Season 2 Outfits, Ranked

Let's rank Villanelle's outfits on Killing Eve because they are certainly a mood.
Killing Eve's second season just left us with a huge cliffhanger, but while its plotlines got a bit muddled and confusing, one thing remained consistent: the quality of Villanelle's outfits.
While Eve Polastri's (Sandra Oh) outfits could also be described as "consistent", her trouser and overcoat combo is no match for Villanelle's ever-surprising rotation of looks.
Thankfully, Season 2 delivered a new selection of disguises and haute fashion to admire and then swiftly Google to see if we can imitate on a shoestring budget.

Naturally, we looked up fashion, darling (so you don't have to), and ranked some of those iconic looks in terms of how much of a boss the psychopathic killer appeared. Villanelle's already great at her job but if looks really could kill, she'd be god-tier.
**Some S2 spoilers ahead, duh**
#8: The casual weekend look.

In last place on this list is Villanelle's foray into suburban England. Desperate to change out of her bloodied boys pyjamas, she steals the most normcore outfit television has laid witness to.
It serves its purpose well, as she tricks a seemingly simple middle-aged man, but once that whole saga is over, we're grateful to never see her this basic again.
When it appears: Episode 2, "Nice and Neat".
#7: Rocking your favourite PJs.

Admittedly, this is not an outfit that Villanelle has exactly curated but damn, does she still pull it off. Yes, it is just cartoon-themed flannelette pyjamas but hey, if you, as an adult woman, can rock a pre-teen boy's pyjamas and still make it look like something outta the Met Gala, you're a winner.
When it appears: Episode 1, "Do You Know How to Dispose of a Body?"
#6: Seventies cosplay, darling.

One of Villanelle's more interesting costume choices is this little piece she decides screams, "I'm a schoolteacher".
Turns out, her outfit worked as both farshun and a great disguise as Eve didn't recognise her in the I-would-have-thrived-in-the-seventies look.
When it appears: Episode 3, "The Hungry Caterpillar".
#5: Class act to follow.

In the final scenes of Season 2, we see Villanelle dressed up in an extremely curated outfit, as directed by tech supercreep Aaron Peel.
It's definitely one of the more safe fashion statements in the series and almost makes you forget that Villanelle is not a classy spy but an unstable serial killer.
When it appears: Episode 8, "You're Mine".
#4: Dressed to kill.

When Villanelle returns for more contract killings, she pulls off another extra execution in Amsterdam's infamous red light district.
While not really her most runway-ready look, the pig mask and dirndl dress combo certainly wins at being her most location-appropriate (and haunting) outfit choice.
When it appears: Episode 4, "Desperate Times".
#3: Goth revival.

Like a true drama queen, Villanelle rocks up to Eve's house wearing a mourning women's clothes; all black, complete with a face veil. It's at a moment where you're not sure whether Villanelle really will kill Eve.
As an outfit, it ticks all the boxes: drama, flair, turtleneck. Student Edge approves this look.
When it appears: Episode 5, "Smell Ya Later".
#2: Schoolboy prep.

In her visit to Oxford to see Niko, Villanelle embodies the preppy university student in the most on-brand combination of tan-coloured chinos and over-the-shoulder sweaters we've ever laid eyes on.
Serving up some serious BDE, this moment deserves its spot at second on the list. What a lewk.
When it appears: Episode 5, "Smell Ya Later".
#1: Insta-chic.

We've got a standout outfit from the season here in Villanelle's 'Amsterdam Spring' number. It's helped by the fact the scene also features one of Villanelle's best lines.
While writing a postcard to Eve, she's approached by a random girl who wants to 'gram her. Villanelle, of course, swiftly savages her. We're siding with Villanelle on that one; don't be pathetic, bystanders, just feel privileged to have witnessed a true fashion icon and move along.
When it appears: Episode 4, "Desperate Times".
Special mentions.
We couldn't fit every look on this list and trust us, there are many, so here are some honourable mentions.
