Halle Berry Spills the Beans on Working With the Ultimate Intern: Malia Obama

Even when your paps is the most important man in the world for eight years, you've just gotta try and do life as regular and basic as everyone else. 

That's what Barack and Michelle Obama's eldest daughter, Malia, tried to do when she took an internship as a production assistant (PA) working with Halle Berry. You know, just your regular, run-of-the-mill internship opportunity. 

She worked on the set of Extant, a CBS sci-fi series produced by Steven Spielberg, but Berry recently explained that there was a bit of a problem with having Obama on set: Few could view her as Malia Obama, the production assistant intern, and instead, saw her as Malia Obama, daughter of the POTUS. Understandable.

"To her credit, she tried very hard to be [a regular PA]," Berry told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. "She was down to do whatever a PA is asked to do... I had wild respect for her for that."

Obama's career as a production assistant intern, however, didn't end there. She interned at The Weinstein Company earlier this year, which, you know, is just another basic internship and, in 2015, interned for Lena Dunham's Girls.

Damn, some people are just born with glitter in their veins.

To add to her 'cool' factor, earlier this week she displayed some truly impressive (and very relatable) rock moves. I'm stanning her, for sure.
