Good News, You Can Now Pre-Order the Gold PS5; Bad News, It's $10k

If you’re someone who likes shiny things you may want to click away because a luxury retailer based in London has just announced they’re taking pre-orders for the bougiest PlayStation ever.

Truly Exquisite, known for sticking expensive shiny things to other expensive shiny things, has decided to offer customers custom 24K gold, platinum or rose gold PS5 consoles from September 10, for some reason.

Just in case you find the white PS5 design a little too basic, you can get your hands on your precious gold PlayStation for the 'bargain' price of just $10,500 AUD (£8,099). The set includes two matching DualSense controllers and a PS5 3D Pulse headset, so at least there’s no need to head out and buy a second controller.

If you think you’ve got the dough to fork out for this bougie console, you’ll have to get on it quickly because Truly Exquisite is only making 250 units per model.

If this is just out of your price range, you can always just buy the original PS5 which for now is just available in white. The exact price of the original console and the pre-order date still hasn’t been released but you can register your interest on PlayStation's website, because, just like the 24K gold one, there is limited stock.
