“Girlboss” Is Netflix’s Latest Victim to Be Cancelled Before Its Second Season

Another one has bitten the dust in the world of Netflix original series.
Netflix has announced that Girlboss will not be renewed for another season, which is not too shocking seeing as the show received some pretty trash reviews from critics.

The show was based on real life girlboss Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Girl, a fashion retailer for young women. Amoruso was, understandably, a lil' upset by the news.
She posted her comments on Instagram stories, saying, "So, that Netflix series about my life got cancelled."
"It will be nice to someday tell the story of what’s happened in the last few years. People read the headline, not the correction, I’ve learned."
Just last month Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced that the streaming site would become more brutal with canning shows. This was in response to the news that The Get Down and, later, Sense8 would not be renewed for further seasons.
Unsurprisingly, it's not just Amoruso who isn't super okay with this announcement.
So @netflix is turning into just another network channel, that no longer gives series time to grow an audience....
