Get Abducted and Blast Aliens in "Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars" DLC

Alien-blasting and jetpacks. Are you ready for Far Cry 5's Lost On Mars?

Get ready to give your thumbs a real workout because another DLC (downloadable content) pack is about to be released for Far Cry 5.

The second of three planned releases is called Lost On Mars and as the title suggests, you play a character who is, indeed, lost on Mars and must fight his way through a bunch of freaky aliens.

Nick Rye is a family-man-turned-fighter-pilot who has now been given the task of saving the world from an imminent alien invasion. Teaming up with an AI called "ANNE", you must use jetpacks, laser guns and even a weapon that "turns your enemies into explosive, arachnid-attracting cows" to stop the bad guys.

The best part? It's a standalone release so you don't need the original Far Cry 5 to play it.

It comes after the release of the first DLC, Hours of Darkness, which takes you to the Vietnam War. The final release, Dead Living Zombies, is due in August and will see players face off with hordes of zombies.

Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on 17 July.
