Ever wanted to walk the neon-lit cities of a cyberpunk world through the eyes of a cat? We didn't know we needed that either, but Annapurna Interactive’s latest release Stray released in July has you covered.
Maybe it’s the dedicated “meow” button or the cuteness of a furry little ginger cat? Regardless, Stray has become 2022’s highest-rated Steam game, surpassing the PC release of God of War.
The Last of Us fans got a sneak peek at the game’s PS5 rebuild thanks to a 10-minute gameplay leak. Marking a full decade since its first appearance in 2013, The Last of Us Part I will drop on 2 September.
A new Gears of War game could be in development, after some eagle-eyed fans spotted a job posting by the game’s developer, The Coalition, hinting at a campaign and multiplayer mode.
Jumping away from all that post-apocalyptic stuff, Skate 4 or officialy Skate. still has no specific release date. But it will become a free-to-play live service game, as announced during Full Circle’s vlog update.
Oh and Destiny fans can rejoice knowing Bungie has jumped into a deal with PlayStation Studios. The pair couldn’t be happier, according to this PlayStation Blog post.

Keen on updating your game library but don’t wanna fork out the cash? PlayStation has revealed its free games for August. Plus, an open-beta release for an all new Warner Bros. cross-platform fighting game, Multiversus, has 144,618 active players on Steam alone.

Sadly—but let’s be real—unsurprisingly, Ubisoft cancelled development on four of its new titles including Splinter Cell VR, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and two other unannounced games.
Cancelled games are never fun, but to lift your spirits, a Reddit user found BioWare’s Anthem for $US0.01.
