"Game of Thrones" Season 8 Will Hit Australia on 15 April

The Long Night will descend on Westeros in April.
While it certainly might not feel like it in Australia, winter has officially arrived in Westeros and it's not looking good for your faves.

The final season's date has finally been released and the beginning of the end commences on Monday 15 April on Foxtel's Showcase channel.
If, in the year-and-a-half since Season Seven came out, you've forgotten what we're up to, you let us bring you up to speed: Everyone is still fighting over who should be in charge of Westeros while a bunch of nearly invincible ice zombies begin to infiltrate the lands, slaughtering everyone in their way. Eesh.

In Australia, you can watch each episode on Foxtel's streaming service, Foxtel Now.
Until then, watch the latest teaser to chill your bones now. Winter has come.
