Rumours that Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are dating have sent fans everywhere wild ‘cos finally we might get to see more of Ross and Rachel together.

Breathe everyone, breathe.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, just remember that at the moment, these are just rumours.

So, to help y’all work out if this is fact or fiction, we’ve done an investigation into Aniston and Schwimmer’s ‘will they, won’t they’ saga to see if this is legit.

Didn’t they both have a crush on each other?

Yep. Both actors admitted on the Friends: The Reunion special that they had a crush on each other during the early years of the show.

“The first season I had a major crush on Jen,” Schwimmer said.

“At some point we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respect that.”

Adding to that, Aniston confessed she didn’t want their first kiss to be on camera.

“I just remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television,’” the actress said.

“Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop. So, we just channeled all of our love and adoration for each other into Ross and Rachel.”

Here’s where the investigation gets interesting.

Lifestyle and celebrity news site Closer is claiming that the former co-stars—who are both single—have re-sparked their friendship since they shot the reunion special.

“After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there,” an anonymous source said.

“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”

“They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one on Jen’s favourite vineyards in Santa Barbara.”

I dunno about you, but that’s some convincing evidence right there.

Well, we hate to break it to you but a rep for Schwimmer has come out and denied the rumours, telling The Sun there is "no truth" to the rumours that are making their way around the internet.
