Four Matches That Will Steal the Show At "WrestleMania 37"

Plus, our predicted winners.

Time to pull on your tights, lace up your boots and slip on your Lucha Libre mask because WrestleMania 37 is coming at ya in less than a week.

With the pandemic disrupting last year’s event and preventing fans from being in attendance, this year’s WrestleMania is welcoming fans back into the Raymond Jones Stadium in Florida.

To get you amped for WrestleMania 37, we’ve gone through the match card for both nights and picked out the matches that are guaranteed to steal the show.

1. Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

Easily the most highly anticipated singles match of the show, Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins is a lock-in for some sure fire.

Seth Rollins is a multi-time world champion and has a long resume of match-of-the-year candidates. Cesaro is hands down the best wrestler in the WWE at the moment and has been for quite some time (don't @ us).

Watch his match against Sami Zayn at NXT: Arrival and you’ll see why every WWE Superstar believes him to be the GOAT.

Unfortunately, he can’t quite seem to convince WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that he’s championship material but hopefully a good showing against Rollins will change his mind.

Student Edge prediction: Cesaro takes the victory via a sharpshooter submission.

2. Smackdown Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair

The Boss Sasha Banks is walking into ‘Mania as the champ and it will take one hell of a fight for her to lose it.

Going up against women’s Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair, the Boss and the self-proclaimed EST will put on a slugfest for the fans.

Banks and Belair are both former NXT products with a string of standout matches, so tearing down the house on night one of ‘Mania is not out of the question.

Student Edge prediction: Belair wins her first women’s championship.

3. Intercontinental Championship: Big E vs. Apollo Crews

Big E vs. Apollo Crews is a dark horse for a show-stealing match but there's a couple of reasons why we like it.

The story between the two Superstars has been a clever slow-build by WWE, unlike their usual rushed storytelling. Expect a payoff in this department.

Secondly, both these guys are phenomenal wrestlers. The sheer athleticism alone of these two simply means a bad match isn’t possible.

Expect high energy, intensity and a career defining moment for both men.

Student Edge prediction: Crews scores an upset victory. Big E moves towards a WWE Championship match.

4. WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan

Our last show-stealing match for the grandest stage of them all is the triple threat match between champion Roman Reigns, Men’s Royal Rumble winner Edge, and the indy darling Daniel Bryan.

When we add the star power of this bouth together with each man having previously main-evented WrestleMania, we're guaranteed a match-of-the-year.

Reigns has turned himself into the biggest heel in the company, while Edge is slowly reverting into the Rated R Superstar that saw him rise to the top of WWE a decade ago before his first retirement.

Bryan has worked his way into the match being the hardworking underdog, but don’t expect a repeat of WrestleMania 30 this time.

Student Edge prediction: Reigns retains the title.

WrestleMania 37 will be held on Sunday 11 April and Monday 12 April (AEST).

Aussies can watch it live from 10am each day on the WWE Network. New subscribers to the network will get a free month and then pay $US9.99 per month, which works out to be about $AUD13.
