Top Moments from WrestleMania 2024

Did “The American Nightmare” finish his story?

The 40^th annual WrestleMania has just wrapped up, and both shows were absolutely packed.

Here’s (just some) of the biggest match highlights and moments from the event.

Rhea Ripley defends the Women’s World Championship title.

Our fave Adelaide gal Rhea Ripley fought for her Women’s World Championship title against Becky Lynch, who won the women’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth.

Rhea came out to her entrance music performed live, debuted a new look (which we’re obsessed with).

She came out on top and retained her title of Women’s World Champion.

The Rock returns with a vengeance.

Returning to the ring after 11 years was the one and only Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

While he may be most recently known best for his role as Maui in Moana, trust us when we say The Rock in WWE is nothing like his Disney character – he’s absolutely terrifying.

The main event was wildly entertaining after the build up of beef between The Rock and Cody Rhodes, who was endeavouring to finish his story.

He also caused a bit of controversy lashing out at the ref including dragging him out of the ring when Cody was about to win. Plus, he even caused the network to censor his swearing.

Logan Paul retains his United States Champion title.

Entering on a massive PRIME energy drink truck was controversial internet star turned WWE champion Logan Paul.

Despite being heckled by the crowd who were chanting “Gatorade” and “we want water”, Logan defeated Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, continuing his reign as United States Champion.

Oh, and hidden in that PRIME mascot suit was IShowSpeed - he got RKO'd not long after his reveal.

Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns.

Main event time did not disappoint.

This match would decide Cody’s fate – will he finish this story that’s been years in the making?

Cody and Roman were not alone in this fight, and were one by one joined by the Usos twins, Solo Sikoa..

… and John Cena.

Seth Rollin appears, and the best cameo is saved for last.

The Undertaker arrives.

This literal Avengers: Endgame moment took us to the moment we were all waiting for - Cody Rhodes' win.

Is there dust in our eyes, or are we just tearing up?

FINISHED. THE. STORY. ❤️#CodyRhodes earned that #WrestleMania moment. pic.twitter.com/U5IAnBimgv
