Flume Has Dropped a Remix of Eiffel 65’s "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" and It Slaps

Will it make an appearance in 2020's Hottest 100?
Back in May, the internet went wild after Flume posted a video of himself remixing the iconic Europop smash hit, "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel 65.
While the video mostly showed him working on the remix, things got a little weird when the camera panned to Flume's face, revealing he'd also painted himself blue.
But hey, we've all done strange things to keep ourselves entertained during quarantine.
When Flume uploaded the video, he wrote, "Roses r red my face is blue here is a song I made it for u."

Naturally, fans immediately wanted Flume to release an official version of the remix, and praised him for his exceptional work. Although, everyone was fairly sure it was all just one big meme at the time.
However, Flume evidently listened to his fan's requests, because earlier today the Sydney producer released his official remix of the track, and it's absolute fire.
Take a listen for yourself, and prepare to dance.
People are already predicting Flume's track "The Difference" will take out one of the top spots in triple j's Hottest 100 2020 countdown, but could this remix also feature on the list?
The musician was scheduled to headline Splendour In The Grass this year, which will now take place in July 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
If he's still performing at the festival next year, maybe we'll even get to see him play the remix live.
