Feel Good ‘Coz Gorillaz Are Headlining Splendour in the Grass Next Year

The Strokes and Tyler, the Creator are also confirmed to headline.

Last month, it was revealed that Splendour in the Grass wouldn't go ahead in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. After initially being postponed to October, the festival has now been rescheduled to July 2021. 

Of course, that meant we were all eagerly waiting to find out who would headline the festival next year.

The original bill featured headliners Flume, The Strokes and Tyler, the Creator. Unfortunately, organisers have revealed Flume is unable to headline the festival in 2021. 

However, The Strokes and Tyler, the Creator will still take the stage. Additionally, Gorillaz will also headline the festival.

The band is comprised of four animated band members: singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs. 

At this stage, no other acts have been confirmed yet. Originally, DMA's, Midnight Oil, Baker Boy, and Dillon Francis were all set to perform.

Splendour in the Grass will take place from Friday 23 July to Sunday 25 July 2021 at North Byron Parklands. 

If you bought tickets this year and can't attend the festival next year, you'll be able to apply for a refund before midnight on Monday 27 July. Otherwise, all tickets will still be valid.
