Fans Are Begging Disney to Hire Taika Waititi For the Third "Guardians of the Galaxy"

Will Disney replace James Gunn with Taika Waititi for the next Guardians of the Galaxy?

The director of the first two Guardian of the Galaxy films, James Gunn, has been dropped by Disney after some vile tweets were dug up joking about rape and paedophilia.

He has since tweeted to (sorta?) apologise for the comments he made eight years ago but it certainly wasn't enough to salvage his role.

In the aftermath of this mess, one director stands tall, according to the Marvel standom. That person is none other than the man who made Thor cool again, Taika Waititi. 

Fans have suggested bringing on the Thor: Ragnarok director for the next Guardians installment, thanks to his pretty perfect track record.
