Dave Bautista Will Still Do "GOTG 3" Without James Gunn, Though He Says It’d Be "Nauseating"

"GOTG w/o @JamesGunn just isn’t GOTG."

Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy is beloved for saying exactly what’s on his mind.

Now, it seems the actor who plays him—Dave Bautista—is taking inspiration from his filterless avatar, explaining just how "nauseating" it would be to star in a "legally obligated" third Guardians movie without writer-director James Gunn.

Last month, Disney fired Gunn from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sequel after old tweets in which he joked about rape and paedophilia were uncovered and shared widely by Donald Trump supporters. (Gunn has been critical of the American president, earning the ire of his followers.)

Though the cast of GOTG condemned the tweets, they took the unprecedented move of co-signing a letter asking Disney to reinstate Gunn.

Today, Bautista has answered a fan’s question on Twitter as to whether or not he’ll still be part of the franchise if Disney-Marvel declines to bring back Gunn.

"I will do what I’m legally obligated to do but @Guardians without @JamesGunn is not what I signed up for," he wrote.

"It’s also pretty nauseating to work for someone who’d empower a smear campaign by fascists #cybernazis," he added.

Even if they hire Taika Waititi?
