The Fantastic Beasts 3 Trailer Just Dropped—Here’s Everything We Know So Far

We’re ready to find out all Dumbledore’s juicy secrets.

Today's sprinkle of magic came in the form of a sneak peek into the latest from the Harry Potter  Universe.

The taster comes three years since the last film from the Fantastic Beasts franchise, as the third installment gets set to hit our screens in April next year.

Here's what we know about Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore so far...

It’s Dumbledore’s origin story.

Set in the 1930s, some 60 years before Harry’s arrival at Hogwarts, we’re going to get to see the untold story of our fav professor as the wizarding world was in total turmoil.

In the trailer, we see Dumbledore and his team as they fight to overthrow the powerful dark wizard that is Gellert Grindelwald, and the stakes are pretty darn high.

On that team are wizards, witches, and a brave Muggle baker that we’ll get to meet as they encounter old and new beasts.

There’s a tonne of nods to the original series in the trailer, and this will also mark the separation of magical and normal worlds in the Potter-verse and where it all started.

We love a magical history lesson!

It’s a star-studded cast.

Jude Law returns as a strapping young Dumbledore and we love to see it.

The talented Mads Mikkelsen will debut in the Grindelwald role held previously by Johnny Depp.

The rest of the ensemble cast includes Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne returning as wizard Magizoologist Newt Scamander, alongside Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Jessica Williams.

The same visuals and HP feel we know and love.

Behind the scenes is star-studded too, and we’ll get the same heart and visuals we have grown to love from the series.

David Yates returns to direct the film adapted from J.K Rowling and Steve Kloves’ Screenplay, much like the rest of the films in the Harry Potter Universe.

We’ll be able to see it in Cinemas in early April.

The film opens in Australian Cinemas on April 7, 2022.

We personally cannot wait for Professor Dumbledore to spill all the juicy wizard tea.
