Facebook Knows How To Identify You From Your Hair, Clothing And Body Shape

Facebook knows what you wore last summer.
NewScientist reveals Facebook has developed an algorithm that will allow it to recognise individuals based on "hairdo, clothing, body shape and pose" when their faces are obscured.
So, if you're the type to constantly hide your face whenever someone snaps you for Facebook, know that your hair is actually betraying your true identity.
Traitor!
The Huffington Post asked Facebook what "products such technology might be applied to" - like, hopefully nothing drone related - but the social media giant did not respond to their request for comment.
Maybe all of this is simply meant to enhance their predictive 'tagging' function and isn't for any other nefarious purposes.
Either way, technophobes can cancel their impending Face/Off surgery. You're gonna need a whole Gattaca-style body-reshaping if you want to escape the all-seeing eye of Facebook.
