Emma Watson Wore a "Time’s Up" Tattoo to the Oscars, With a Typo

Emma Watson caused a mild stir online yesterday when she rocked up to the Academy Awards with a new tattoo of the slogan "Times Up".
No, not because it was a provocative phrase (rather, the Oscars gave quite a bit of airtime to the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements).
Instead, because of a pesky missing apostrophe.
i cannot sleep at night knowing that emma watson's "time's up" tattoo lacks the apostrophe between e and s.

Well however bad your day’s been.. you could always be Emma Watson(’)s tattoo artist!

It seems Watson’s tattoo artist isn’t so familiar with contractions, neglecting to include the necessary apostrophe between "Time" and "s".
That may sound pedantic, but remember: This is something Hermione Granger would have definitely pulled Ron up on.

Don’t feel too bad for Watson. As online sleuths quickly identified, it was just a temporary tattoo.
News places are debating whether or not Emma Watson’s tattoo is real or fake. Really didn’t take too long for me to decide. You can see the outline of the temporary tattoo sheet and the texture of those fake tattoos. pic.twitter.com/BJOE5RA5Tu

Watson herself even confirmed it, having a bit of fun with her failed “proofreading”.
Anyway, this is your reminder that Emma Watson has done so much for us all, and we should probably let this one slide.
