Ed Sheeran’s “Galway Girl” Video Shows Saoirse Ronan Pranking Him With a Dumb Tattoo (For Real)

Ed Sheeran thinks he can do whatever he wants.

If Ed Sheeran wants to rap along to a Celtic jig, he’s gonna rap along to a Celtic jig, as he does in the soon-to-be-number-one single “Galway Girl”.

If Ed Sheeran wants to shoot a first-person POV music video, Ed Sheeran will shoot a first-person POV music video, as he has just done for the aforementioned rap-jig.

And if Ed Sheeran wants Brooklyn’s Saoirse Ronan to play his girlfriend in that same music video, he will get Saoirse Ronan to play his girlfriend.

But Sheeran can’t control everything. Ronan revealed as much during the filming of the clip, pranking Sheeran with a “Galway Grill” tattoo (a thing she did in real life, and not just for a staged goof).

Why? Because Saoirse Ronan’s got the juice now.
