Comedy Great Adele Makes Up For Grammys Performance With "Ellen" Prank

Adorable cockney Adele has at least proven her comedy chops following a Grammys performance marred by audio issues.

Nestled in the warm embrace of Ellen, Adele admitted she'd been disappointed by her rendition of "All I Ask" at this week's Grammys, crying all day afterwards.

“In fairness I would have cried if it went really well,” she added. “If it had been a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry.”

She redeemed herself - not that Adele ever needs to redeem herself for us lowly peons - by belting out "All I Ask" flawlessly for DeGeneres' audience.

During the program, a deadpan Adele was sent into a Jamba Juice where she was instructed to act, via earpiece, like a bizarre, megalomaniacal, wheat-grass-loving deer-woman.

The segment is priceless, if only for this exchange with the poor Jamba Juice employee as she negotiates payment based on the contents of her purse.

Somewhere, James Corden plots his revenge against Ellen for producing an even better Adele bit.
