Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Is More Likely to Win the 2020 Election Than Trump at This Point

A new US poll has shown that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would beat President Trump in the 2020 election.

The US polling firm Public Policy Polling released the results of the poll showing the potential outcomes of the upcoming (yet, still so far) election.

It, unsurprisingly, showed how unpopular President Trump is, with 48 per cent of participants in favour of impeaching him over the 41 per cent who are opposed to this. It’s pretty damning if nearly half the country (or at least those surveyed) wants you to be charged with misconduct. (NB: The poll was conducted before this week's series of scandals.)

Fellow candidates who Trump would lose out to in the hypothetical 2020 election include the usual suspects; Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden.

The poll also entered a new competitor for consideration; Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It revealed that Johnson, if running as a Democrat, would lead over Trump 42 to 37.

He would also win more than 15 per cent of Trump’s voter base which is a pretty devastating blow.

Johnson has not quite confirmed his presidential hopes yet, but he joins a slew of other possible celebrity candidates ranging from Kanye West, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and even Will Smith.

So, we say, bring on 2020. It could not come any sooner.
