Doja Cat Has Added a Dancing Vet From TikTok on Her Spotify and It's Wild

One is literally of a vet dancing about cats with anal gland issues (wot).

Y’know those fun, loop canvas videos that play when you listen to music on Spotify? Well forget all about those professionally shot music video snippets that other artists go for, ‘cos Doja Cat has officially cracked the system.

In an effort to either get free content, show off some cool creators or bring attention to her Spotify streams (we’re guessing), Doja has changed all the Spotify canvases on her latest album Planet Her to snippets of TikTok dances and trends.

Doja is well known for her shenanigans on social media as well as her music. She initially rose to fame in 2018 when she posted her joke music video “MOOO!” to YouTube and it blew up.

Honestly, it’s a bop so no one here is surprised.

Content warning: this video contains explicit language.

Since then, she has taken the music industry by storm, dropping some of the most popular dance tracks and TikTok viral songs in the last three years like “Kiss Me More (feat.SZA)”, “Say So”, and “Woman”.

While most of them are super cute montages of dances that are regularly performed to her music, there are a few that raise your eyebrows when you come across them.

The standout: this video of TikTok user @dr.hunterfinn educating his viewers on how to tell if your cat has anal gland issues (bets are that he’s a vet, not a human doctor).

This video quickly went viral on the app just a few weeks ago, just for how awkward the dancing is paired with the subject of the video, so you just know Doja had to jump on the internet laughs for this one.

"I didn't want this many people seeing me dancing, but it's OK," Finn told Polygon, saying that he was "honoured” to have been recognised by Doja Cat.

“Need To Know”, “Ain’t S***”and “Woman” also feature a unique video compared to the others, which all seem to be random TikTok trends or dances.

Doja also seems to be keeping up to date with these loops though, as some videos have very quickly come and gone from Spotify.

TikTok creators cottoned on to this in no time and flew to the app to share their reactions. Honestly, this whole thing is content gold.

We all knew TikTok was taking the world by storm, especially considering it is officially the most downloaded app on the planet, but Doja has taken it to a whole new level, and we just love it!
