There’s Going to Be a Docuseries About “Glee”, And We’re READY for the Tea

Buckle up, Gleeks 🤓

Fans of Glee have suffered some traumatic events over the years (and we’re not just talking about Mr Schue break-dancing).

It was only a matter of time before we were delivered a tell-all expose on what really went down on the set of Glee.

Discovery+ and ID have announced a docuseries about the iconic show that aired from 2009 to 2015—and it’s gonna be juicy.

The show will address allegations about Lea Michele’s reportedly ‘toxic’ presence on set.

For years, lead star Lea Michele has been accused of bullying co-stars and being a bit of a diva.

Aside from some shady tweets from co-stars and some typical PR clap-backs on Instagram, it’s never really been confirmed.

According to Variety, the controversy will be discussed.

It will cover the death of Cory Monteith.

The world was rocked by the death of fan-favourite Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on Glee, in 2013.

He passed away from an accidental heroin overdose and Glee subsequently created tribute episodes to honour the late actor.

Naya Rivera’s tragic death will also be acknowledged.

In 2020, actress Naya Rivera mysteriously disappeared on a boating trip, leaving her 4-year-old son behind.

Known as Santana Lopez on Glee, it marked another tragedy among the cast, and came as a huge shock.

We already know this docuseries will be heartbreaking.

There is no official release date as yet, but the series is expected to be released on Foxtel and BINGE.
