Did Lorde Just Play a Massive, Weird Practical Joke on Fans With Her “Perfect Places” Video?

Lorde, you scamp!

Having already given us the best album of 2017 (so far), Lorde owes us nothing. Nothing!

And yet, today she dropped the video for stand-out Melodrama closer, “Perfect Places”, showing her on a tropical vacation, trekking through the wilderness and wearing very impractical couture on the beach.

Coarse language warning, ahoy.

But Lorde knows we want more, so she gave us an assignment with the video’s release:
