Did Kylie Jenner Just Cancel Snapchat? A Semi-Investigation

It's been 44 days since Snapchat updated (and nailed up their own coffin) to their woeful new design. Despite the month-and-a-half, things aren't getting any easier for the app that, to some, is already a relic of the past.

When the update was released, regular users took to (other) social media to complain how bad it was, and since then, a Change.org petition to wind the update back has gathered more than 1.2 million signatures.

In case things weren't already dire for the once-addictive social media app, this just happened.

While Kylie Jenner is not the only celebrity to use Snapchat, she's definitely one of the most influential, so when Snapchat's biggest user questions its worth, things come tumbling down... quite literally.

In fact, since Jenner tweeted those 18 words, Snapchat has lost a cool $US1.3billion.

If you don't get stocks, that's totally fine because you just have the notice how the blue line speeds downwards to know that it's not good.

So while Jenner may not be the sole reason that Snapchat is crashing hard (we can think of quite a few), her simple Tweet might've been enough to bring down a crumbling empire.

The solution? Listen to the people (including Jenner) and bring the old Snapchat back!
