Dashing even helped him buy an investment property 🏘️

When Tom's friend told him about their side hustle Dashing, little did he know it would help him balance student life and his social life, all while helping him earn some money.

In the latest episode of Dasher Stories, we sat down to chat with Tom who lives on the Central Coast and is studying to be a Secondary Maths and Physics teacher.

Now he's got the balance of studying, social life and Dashing down. But when he first started Dashing he admits it was all he wanted to do.  

"Essentially any free time I had I would be Dashing," he told Student Edge.

"For about a straight year I didn't have a social life it was just straight Dashing. 

"Now I use it much more as a flexible tool." 

One of his biggest achievements since he got in his car and began Dashing, has been the ability to save up for his own investment property. 

Kudos to Tom. How many students do you know who have an investment property lying around?

"It was probably only two, three months in I realised how much I could potentially make," he said.

"So that's when I came to the realisation I would be able to save up and get an investment property.

"I saved up for that and then I was able to get that only a year and a half after Dashing. That entire period was essentially Dashing non-stop."
