Becoming a Dasher helped him learn his way around Brisbane 🙌

Our latest episode of Dasher Stories features Fahad who is an international student from Pakistan, living in Brisbane.

Although he became a Dasher to find some flexibility in his schedule and also earn on the go, a benefit he didn't see coming was learning where all the different landmarks around Brisbane are located.

"So I'm learning new things. I am visiting new places. It is giving me more experience around the Brisbane," he told Student Edge.

"[At first] I was using the mobile all the time, watching the map, but now, I'm very used to around this area.

"Now, I'm very used to this area. I just see the location, and I don't use the map too much." 

He also remembers his first big 'splurge' after his first Dash. He decided to treat his friends and family to a meal. 

"We went for dinner on that night. It was like my first earnings in Australia so it was quite a momentous thing for me," He said. 

"And we took snaps and we enjoyed the food here. We went to the kebab shops and we really enjoyed that.

"It was my first time in Australia and I had just earned a handsome amount."
