Darth Vader is Now in Fortnite and Players Are Getting Scared As Heck

"NAHHH CAUSEEE DARTH VADER IS SCARYYY".

Star Wars content is literally everywhere, with the finale of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" just having premiered on Disney+, and now a Fortnite addition that’s got gamers hooked.

But it’s not all fun times, with Darth Vader featuring as an intimidating and outright scary battle boss.

The character is a Level 100 skin in the Chapter 3, Season 3 Battle Pass of Fortnite, but this week has been added as an on-map boss who descends in a dropship with a squad of Stormtroopers and awaits your challenge.

Defeating him is no easy task, with an array of deadly tactics in his arsenal. Vader possesses his trademark red lightsaber and will use it to deflect any bullets you shoot at him, then throw them right back at you.

What’s scaring players the most is the rate at which he can advance upon you in an instant using the Force. One second you’re shooting him from a distance, the next, he’s right in front of you.

Players have even tried driving cars over him, but he’ll simply hurl you and the car right off the ground.

It’s worth giving it a go, though, because the prize is picking up his lightsaber (a Mythic weapon) and using it to throw at players like a boomerang.

According to Kotaku, he’ll be on the map for at least the next week or so, so you’ll have plenty of time to face up to Star Wars’ greatest villain.
