A New Season of "Fortnite" Has Dropped But Everyone's Just Raving About the Pets

Fortnite lets you choose between having a dragon, chameleon or a pupper.

The sixth season of Fornite, called 'Darkness Rises', has just dropped and contains a bunch of new battle maps with a spooky Halloween twist.

It also contains a new item called a 'shadow stone', which allows you to go into a 'ghost' mode. This gives you the ability to jump higher, pass through walls and move faster but restricts your use of weapons.

However, the most exciting addition, by far, was definitely the introduction of 'pets'.

There are three pets to choose from: a dragon, a chameleon and a dog, and they unlock after you surpass a certain tier level. For those impatient players, however, you can purchase that tier level and skip straight to owning your new little pal.

It's all great and fun, but someone posed an incredibly distressing question.

Some have theorised a few scenarios but no one seems to actually know yet.

Anyway, that's the price you're going to have to pay for bringing your adorable new pet to battle. 

Pets are available now in Fortnite's Season 6 Battle Pass.
