Dami Im Gets The Greatest Eurovision Consolation Prize Of All: An Emotional Lip-Sync Tribute

Dami Im may not have won Eurovision, but she has earned the greatest consolation prize of all: an emotional, lip-sync tribute from a gent in a replica dress.
Canadian Jason Haines posted the following clip to his Facebook page earlier today, after –we’re presuming – eight days of serious rehearsal.
Though he doesn’t attempt the full performance, he certainly gives the opening minute to “Sound of Silence” his all.
Im made Australia proud by coming second at the Eurovision Song Contest last week. She was ultimately bested in voting by Ukraine’s entry, Jamala (though controversy has arisen over the political nature of Jamala’s song “1944” and revelations that it had been performed live prior to the event).
We can only hope no-one attempts to replicate Belarus’ entrant IVAN, who performed naked with wolves.
