According To Grammy Nominee Courtney Barnett's New Song, She's Still Mad For Mi Goreng

Courtney Barnett wants you to know that, Grammy nominations and ARIA adulation be damned, she’s keeping it real (at least as far as her eating habits are concerned).

The breakout Aussie singer has released a new song called “Three Packs A Day” for Milk! Records’ new compilation EP Good For You, in which she waxes lyrically about that student food staple: pot noodle.

Sample lyric/ helpful cooking instruction: “Boil it up, water in the sauce pan/ In a cup, drink it from a silver spoon.” (Side note: Has there ever been a more Barnettian chorus in her recording history?)

If Barnett wins Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards next month, let’s hope she celebrates with a fourth pack. She’ll have earned it.
