Recently, a mate of mine challenged me to try European Piatsa’s Portuguese Chicken burger.

I am a fan of Ogalo (if you like their burgers, you should like this), but he believed that this, somehow, was even better.

On taking a look from the streets, you would be forgiven for passing by without a second thought…

European Piatsa

… but when you walk inside, the smell of their hot food hits you.

The staff there were very accommodating and friendly, even when I wasn't sure whether to grab some chili sauce with their burger or not.

The range of drinks was also surprisingly large (but I grabbed the typical Lift).

After receiving my burger meal order, I sat down and began to eat. The first thing you notice is that the chips are oily, and taste great.

The second thing you notice is that the burger tastes even better; mouthwateringly good.

Mine came with two chicken slabs, lettuce and mayo, all sandwiched in a rather large bun.

The rest of the menu also looked relatively nice (although I don't think I'd ever go for anything else). There were a number of options that could have been added to the burger, and I'm certainly willing to try them next time.

An overall 8/10 meal, would definitely recommend to all looking for a great burger in the area near and around Artarmon.

Food: 5/5
