Cheap Eats: The Taste Of Cho, NSW

There are just way too many choices in life. At least this place makes it easy for you.

There are so many 'three choices with rice' places in Sydney, but for me, the best of them is takeaway joint The Taste of Cho.

The Taste of Cho sells affordable and inexpensive Taiwanese food from a takeaway stand. They serve up boiling hot food that is a real, complete meal, ready to go. No process meat is included.

Their flexible options include two or three dishes with rice, or, you can get small or large combos without rice. It's common to see people buying several of these to take home for a family dinner. As well as being great food, it's particularly cheap.

The two choices and rice is $7.50 and the three choice and rice is $9.50; you are also able to add a drink for $1. The drinks include a variety of teas such as green tea, black tea and wintermelon tea.

There is also a curry box with deep fried pork chops, chicken wings, chicken fillet or fish fillet for $10. I recommend the other choice of rice, Lu lo fan, which, for $5, comes with chopped stewed pork. You can also have this with the $15 big meal box that consists of three hot dishes, a cold side dish, fried chicken or pork, as well as a drink.

There are a bunch of super fresh side dishes you can add alongside your meal in small takeaway containers. Perfect for hot summer days are the cold noodles with varieties of vegetables and sesame sauce on top.

The Taste of Cho is one of the fastest and easiest hot food stores to get lunch and dinner from. The packaging is easy to carry, making it flexible for all customers no matter the circumstances.
