Chance the Rapper Embarrassed Beyoncé In Concert By Singing “Simpsons” Birthday Song

We already knew Chance was a fan of Arthur, but apparently he’s a massive fan of The Simpsons too.

However, his fandom for Beyoncé trumps all, as demonstrated at Jay Z’s Made in America festival over the weekend.

During his set at the Philly concert, Chance encouraged a group singalong of “Happy Birthday Lisa” (from the Michael Jackson-starring episode of The Simpsons) to celebrate Bey’s 35th birthday. (“Lisa” was swapped out with both “auntie” and “Yoncé”, obviously.)

The recent VMA (and lawsuit) champ responded by hiding behind husband Jay Z, adorably embarrassed.

The rest of the nation recognised her birthday by taking a public holiday (okay, it might actually have been for Labor Day, but whatever).
