Carly Rae Jepsen's "Boy Problems" Music Video Is The Disco/ Slumber Party/ Funeral Of Your Dreams

Given the fact Taylor Swift’s 1989 juggernaut dominated much of 2015, there wasn’t much room for Carly Rae Jepsen’s album E-mo-tion to breathe.
Sadly, it meant none of its singles matched the ubiquity of her 2012 hit, “Call Me Maybe”. A shame really, because the album features pop banger after pop banger. That’s probably why it’s taken until April of 2016 (a full eight months after the record’s release) for her to drop the video for her irrepressible “Boy Problems”. (Meanwhile, Tay is onto 1989 single number seven. She cannot be stopped.) In the clip, Carly Rae, Tavi Gevinson and dozens of other girls roll their eyes about “boy problems” at a slumber party, in a workplace, and, most concerningly, at a funeral.Sadly, Tom Hanks isn’t involved this time around, but the tune is still catchy as hell.
