60,000 Brave Heroes Want Kylie Jenner Out of the “WAP” Video

But Kris Jenner works harder.

The people have spoken, and they want Kylie outta there.

The 'there' I’m referring to is the wild new music video by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, titled "WAP", which is an acronym for a phrase we’re opting to not describe here because YIKES.

Extreme language warning.

The 'Kylie' we’re referring to is Kylie Jenner, whose cameo in the clip is the equivalent of a record scratch that makes a pretty fun party suddenly feel like a mass funeral.

And 'the people' we’re referring to are the proud 62,000 (as of this writing) protesters who have signed a Change.org petition to "remove Kylie Jenner from WAP video", which was started by user 'Nini youtube' on Friday with this simple explanation: "The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone."

Top commenters Aaliyah Parra and Tionne Williams further capture the mood, with Parra writing, "I was happily enjoying my daily cup of brown women until that culture stealing coloniser showed up and made me spill," and Williams adding, "she is a culture vulture who doesn't remember how her own complexion looks."

The sentiment on Twitter is no different, where many are upset that Jenner interrupted a clip that otherwise celebrated black and latinx excellence, thanks to its other cameos, which included Normani, Rosalía, Mulatto, Rubi Rose, and Sukihana.

Cardi seemingly defended Jenner’s presence on Twitter, without explicitly naming her.

Meanwhile, everyone knows how this came to pass and why the petition will never result in Kylie getting kut.
