"Budgeting", "Tax Returns" and "Career Choices" Now Available on Student Edge Learning

Student Edge has added three more programs to its growing online learning platform.

Two of the new programs—Budgeting for Beginners and Paying Taxes and Preparing Tax Returns—were created in consultation with Chartered Accountants ANZ and Financial Toolbox.

Chartered Accountant Sarah Dammers authored Budgeting for Beginners, which teaches students how to create a budget and even how to make their money grow.

Paying Taxes and Preparing Tax Returns—authored by Debbie Whiting, Managing Director at Utopia Financial Partners, and Travis Buck, Assistant Tax Manager at Utopia Financial Partners—explains why we pay taxes and shows young people how to fill in their tax returns.

The third new program, Career Choices, aims to educate students about the most promising careers of the future (and gets them asking the right questions to lead them to their 'dream career').

All three programs—along with pre-existing programs Cyber Safety, Job Readiness and Life After School—are all available now on Student Edge Learning.

Playful animations and comprehension quizzes help ensure students engage with the content and walk away with real insight into their future options.

Participants who successfully complete the program also receive a certificate noting their achievement.

The Student Edge Learning platform allows teachers the flexibility to assign individual programs in the classroom or as a home activity, with it being fully compatible with desktop and mobile devices.
