A Boy Scout Returned Chris Hemsworth’s Wallet On “Ellen”, So Ellen Gave Him $10K

Chris Hemsworth: proving Australia’s benevolence in a week where we seem anything but benevolent.

Thor himself and Ellen DeGeneres surprised a literal American boy scout by giving him a $US10,000 reward for returning Hemsworth’s lost wallet.

The Aussie actor told Ellen on her aptly-titled Ellen DeGeneres Show how he accidentally left his wallet behind at a Los Angeles restaurant one evening, believing it to be lost to the sands of time.

And yet, it was luckily picked up by 17-year-old Tristin Budzyn-Baker (great name), who declined to rip off the Avenger and instead worked to reunite it with its rightful owner.

He did so by contacting Ellen’s producers, noticing that Hemsworth was scheduled to appear, and finagled some tickets for him and his mum.

To repay the good deed, Hemsworth handed over all the cash from the wallet (which Budzyn-Baker had neglected to pocket) and wrote him a letter of recommendation to help him earn the Eagle Scout badge.

Then, the Ellen team just gave Budzyn-Baker $US10,000 to help him pay for college.

See? No good deed goes unpaid, so long as you can find one of the Hemsworth’s wallets. There are like 40 Hemsworths out there, so start seeing how you can help one near you!
